About

About Me!

Heyyy!!! My name is Nina Moore!

Before I am ANYTHING else, I am a believer and follower of Jesus Christ!

I grew up in Shaker Heights, OH (a Cleveland suburb). I have a Civil Engineering degree from THE Ohio State University. For the past four years, I have worked as both an Engineer & Superintendent for Turner Construction and have built Data Centers and an EV Battery Plant!

This past spring I was ordained as a Minister at Hope City Church. Which is an honor I never could’ve imagined that I would have.

I love serving at Hope City in the prayer room on Friday Nights and with the Middle School girls of Young City!

I love spending time outdoors! Whether it’s hiking, days on my kayak or running and biking through the streets of Columbus!

The Call

My Why?

My heart for nations was birthed at a young age. My parents took my sister and me as many places as they could internationally. Going to the Dominican Republic when I was 12 marked me for the rest of my life. Seeing the need of the people there, birthed a desire to serve the nations (this predates my relationship with Jesus). My love for the world only grew as I got older!

On January 5th, 2020, I felt the weight of my sin, that separated me from God, for the first time in my life. In the back of Hope City Church during worship, I asked God to “remove the wall” that separated me from Him, and in an instant, I felt the light of the Lord entering my heart as the wall crumbled. The Holy Spirit immediately began changing my desires, my thoughts, my actions, and I became a new creation. After surrendering my life to Jesus I began to have the desire to build places where the Spirit dwells in different nations around the world.

My why… the answer is simple … Because Jesus is Worthy of EVERY NATION, TRIBE, TONGUE AND PEOPLE singing His praise. The Gospel is not for Americans or any other specific demographic. The Gospel is good news for the whole world.

Living in America, it can be easy to forget that around the globe, it is illegal to preach the Gospel and in some places, the Name of Jesus can even get you killed. Jesus is WORTHY of their yes and voice as well!

He is worthy of my whole life, my whole being, and my whole career.

So when the LORD called me to this missionary journey my answer is the same as the Prophet Isaiah’s, “Here I am. Send me” (Is. 6:8).
